Strategies that could maintain a positive relationship with family members could be:
- Having a set time to talk to each other and discuss what they need to complete and when.
- Discuss how bills etc will be paid off. This allows some financial planning
- Taking time out to invite family members over and have either lunch or dinner. allowing to be physically and socieoemotionally active.
- Can set out a time table as to what has to be done and when so that you are able to find time to go out and have some family binding time. this might include taking a day of work or applying for holidays. doing this can help your Socieoemotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
- Leaving kids with grandparents or Family can increase family binding so that every still stays together as a family and kids are grown up in a loving grown environment.
Strategies to mange demands of family and multiple roles is to:
- Set out time.
- Set out weekly chart, when parent/s comes home, what their responsibilities are guiding kids with school work or getting the baby to bed on time so that it falls into a daily routine. e.g pick up kids from school, make them something to eat, while they are eating go do any necessary housework. then get them to shower. While kids do that you could make food for them so there is time to bond with the children and help them with any work.
- If it was a baby your looking after you and your partner could set time for the baby as when it is fed and out to bed so that you can plan the other necessities that need to be attended to and completed. both partners or carers can share this responsibility. this improves the political physical, socieoemotional and spiritual wellbeing of both the parents/ carers and child/children.
